Run a system check for possible errors

Press Start Scan to find problems with Windows.

Press Repair Everything to fix problems with proprietary technologies.

If the update does not complete or the system freezes during the update, run the Windows Update diagnostic utility to resolve the issue. Here’s how.

Troubleshooting Windows Update

  1. Press Windows + I to open the settings.
  2. Press Update and Security.
  3. Select the Troubleshooting tab from the left pane.
  4. Scroll down and click on the Windows Update button.
  5. Press the Run Troubleshooting button.
  6. The troubleshooter scans your system for problems that prevent the installation of Windows Update. Make the recommended corrections and close the debug function.

Restart the computer and try to update the system again. After installing the update, check for improvements.

If the problem persists, restart Windows 10 in safe mode to check for a third-party conflict.

3. Restart Windows 10 in Safe Mode

  1. Press the Windows + R key to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type msconfig and click OK to open the system configuration.
  3. Under System Configuration, open the Download tab.
  4. Enable the Secure Boot option, in the Boot Options section.
  5. Select the Network option.
  6. Click Apply and OK to save your changes.
  7. When prompted, click Restart Now and wait for the system to restart.

After the reboot, check the internal error BSOD of the SDBUS. If no error occurs, it is possible that third-party software is causing the error.

Uninstall recently installed applications

  1. Press Start and select Settings.
  2. Click on Apps.
  3. On the Apps tab, find the most recently installed applications.
  4. Select an application and press Delete.
  5. Repeat the steps for any recently installed applications that you think may have caused the error.

After removing the applications, open System Configuration, select Normal Startup on the General tab, and then click Apply and OK to save your changes.

Restart the computer and verify that the Acer Aspire 1 internal SDBUS error is resolved.

4. Start system file check utility

  1. Close all saved requests and documents before starting the Verify System Files utility.
  2. Press the Windows key and type cmd.
  3. Right-click on the command line and choose Run as Administrator.
  4. In the command prompt window, type the following command and press Enter :
    Sfc/scannov
  5. Wait for the program to finish scanning. It scans your computer for damaged or missing system files and automatically makes the necessary corrections. Close the command line window once you see the success message.

When the scan is complete, restart the computer and check if the internal Lenovo sdbus error is resolved.
